Roller skating is recommended by the American Heart Association (AHA) as an aerobic fitness sport. Studies have shown that roller skating provides a complex aerobic workout and involves all of the body’s muscles, especially the heart.

Classes

The FUN TO ROLL roller skating classes are designed to get beginner skaters to a point where they will be able to enjoy the fun of roller skating as soon as possible. Attending both classes each week allows you to progress at a rapid pace, or if your time is limited, you might attend either Saturday or Tuesday classes, the choice is yours.

LEARN HOW TO SKATE OR HOW TO SKATE BETTER

The classes will be taught by qualified instructors who are members of, The Society of Roller Skating Teachers of America and are Certified USA Roller Sports Coaches. Upon completion of these classes, you may want to go into more advanced classes which are available at Lanham Skate Center. Ask your instructor about the availability of these advanced classes.

It is easy to join, just download and fill out the Registration Form on our site and bring it out with you to the next scheduled skating class and you will see that it is, “FUN TO ROLL”. Classes start at the beginning of each month.
